Ossipee, NH – On Tuesday, September 16, 2026, the NH Fish and Game Dive Team conducted operations in Ossipee Lake to revisit the search for Carol Gemmiti, who went missing in the area nearly 2 years ago. No clues to her whereabouts were discovered during the initial search effort in September of 2024, and multiple teams have deployed additional resources over the past 2 years in the hope of finding a resolution.
Today’s diving operation conducted an extensive search of the lake in the area where she went missing. Unfortunately, no clues were discovered and again we are no closer to a resolution. The Ossipee Police Department also has an open missing person case on behalf of Gemmiti.
