Bartlett, NH – On Saturday, July 4 at around 2:00 p.m., the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department was notified that a woman injured had her knee at Diana’s Baths and was unable to walk out on her own. The woman was identified as Veronique Campbell, 51, of Auburn, MA.

Along with Fish and Game Conservation Officers, members of the Bartlett/Jackson Fire Department and Bartlett Fire Department responded. Fire and ambulance personnel were able to use a side-by-side all-terrain vehicle on the path until they reached a bridge that is too narrow for any vehicle to cross. They carried a litter into her location. They were able to treat her injury, place her in the litter, and carry her back to the side-by-side, which transported her out to the trailhead. Campbell arrived at the trailhead shortly before 4:00 p.m. and left with family.
