Easton, NH – On Saturday, June 29 at 5:30 p.m., Conservation Officers were notified of an injured hiker on the Appalachian Trail on Kinsman Ridge. The hiker, identified as Brittany Pulley, 34, of Virginia, sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries to her leg.

A Conservation Officer and 29 volunteers from the Pemigewasset Valley Search and Rescue Team faced the daunting task of hiking 2.9 miles up Reel Brook Trail to Kinsman Ridge Trail. They then traversed Kinsman Ridge Trail 2.5 miles to the victim, packaged her into a litter and carried her back down. Recues crews arrived back at the trailhead with Pulley shortly before 5:00 a.m. on Sunday, June 30.  

Pulley suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported by Littleton Fire Department ambulance to Littleton Regional Hospital for further treatment.
