Woodstock, NH – On Friday, February 20, 2026, at 1:00 p.m., the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department was notified of a snowmobile accident in Woodstock on private property near the Corridor 11 snowmobile trail. The report was that a snowmobile had rolled over and a female operator was injured. The injured female was on a rental snowmobile and part of a guided tour at the time of the accident. The guide was able to get the injured female out of the woods and back to Route 3 where she was taken by private vehicle to seek medical attention. A Conservation Officer responded to the scene to follow up and investigate.
Once on scene, the operator was identified as Lisa Guida, 44, of Mount Sinai, New York. Guida was navigating a slight uphill when she accidentally grabbed the throttle instead of the brake. That caused her to accelerate and leave the trail. Guida hit a tree, and the snowmobile rolled over, throwing her off and causing her injury. At this time it appears inexperience was the main factor of the accident.
