Concord, NH – For the past 5 years, the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department has connected listeners to life outdoors through the exciting and wildly popular podcast, On the Nature Trail. Based on the New Hampshire Wildlife Journal’s popular column of the same name, author and Fish and Game Wildlife Educator Lindsay Webb has shared her wildlife encounters while hiking, biking, kayaking, and exploring throughout the Granite State. This October’s installment marks the 100th episode and in it Webb reflects on her adventures outdoors and her connection to the Granite State’s wildlife and wild places.
Each unique podcast has taken listeners on a 5-minute journey to a different location and introduced them to the fascinating wildlife Webb has met along the way, including garter snakes, water scorpions, and the curious saw-whet owl. One hundred of these popular installments have been produced, and the latest edition will be released October 22. Now is the perfect time to download the episodes for your next road trip and get inspired to explore New Hampshire’s woods, waters, and fields before winter.
On the Nature Trail podcasts are available now on iHeart Radio, Spotify, CastBox, and Apple Podcast, or by visiting nhfishgame.com/series/otnt-nhfg/.
