Bartlett, NH – On Sunday, January 26, shortly after 1:00 p.m., New Hampshire Fish and Game was notified that a pair of snowmobiles had crashed into one another on Bear Notch Road. Wilson Alonzo, 39, of Peabody, MA, was operating a rented snowmobile and drifted onto the left side of the trail. Marie Kelly, 53, of New Ipswich, NH, was traveling in the opposite direction on a privately owned machine. The snowmobiles locked skies as they passed, and as a result, both machines were damaged extensively. Fortunately, no serious injuries were sustained and all parties were able to self-evacuate from the trail with assistance of rental company personnel.
