Concord, NH – The New Hampshire Fish and Game Department (NHFG) reminds citizens and visitors that during the COVID-19 public health emergency in New Hampshire, all hunting, fishing, and off-highway recreational vehicle (OHRV) rules and regulations will remain in effect throughout the Granite State and will be enforced. All required licenses and registrations for fishing and hunting must be secured and carried by individuals while on the water or in the field. All spring turkey harvests must be registered at either an open check station or online. Hunters should contact their local check station to be sure they are operational and registering turkeys.
To learn more about changes to the 2020 spring turkey hunt visit https://wildlife.state.nh.us/hunting/turkey-reg.html.
The New Hampshire Fish and Game Department’s Inland Fisheries Division continues to actively stock trout within the Granite State’s rivers, ponds, and other waterbodies. Stocking Reports remain unpublished on the NHFG website to prevent the congregation of anglers and to ensure the safety of fisheries stocking staff. Please maintain the recommended six feet of social distance between fellow anglers and NHFG stocking staff.
The Department will continue to sell hunting and fishing licenses and Hike Safe cards online at https://www.nhfishandgame.com/ and at our headquarters at 11 Hazen Drive, Concord, NH. For licensing-specific questions please call (603) 271-3422.
In the priority of the safety of the public and NHFG staff, online license purchases are encouraged at this time.
