Dixville, NH – At approximately 10:45 a.m. on Sunday, February 2, 2020, Kebrina Howard, 23, of Putney, Vermont was operating a snowmobile on Primary Trail 134 in Dixville. While navigating the junction of Primary Trail 134 onto the Club/Crossover Trail, Howard lost control of her snowmobile. Howard drifted to the outside of the turn and collided with a tree stump not far off the trail.

Howard’s riding partner found her responsive beside her damaged snowmobile and made an immediate call to 911. A response from Colebrook Fire Department, 45th Parallel EMS, and Conservation Officers began. A member of the Colebrook Fire Department quickly arrived on the scene and confirmed that Howard had sustained no injuries in the crash. Howard refused medical treatment and was not transported from the scene.

After an on-scene investigation, Conservation Officer’s believe inexperience was the primary factor in this crash.
