CONCORD, NH – Registration opens January 10 for New Hampshire’s 2020 Becoming an Outdoors Woman (BOW) Winter Workshop, a one-day program where women learn outdoor skills to use and enjoy during the winter months.

The BOW Winter Workshop will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2020, at the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department’s Owl Brook Hunter Education Center in Holderness, NH. Participants will focus on one outdoor activity during the day-long workshop. Choices include ice fishing, winter outdoor survival, snowshoeing and wildlife tracking, and “Shoe and Shoot,” which is woodland target shooting on snowshoes. The BOW Winter Workshop brochure is now available at www.nhbow.com.

A fee of $80.00 covers the programming, equipment use, and lunch unless otherwise mentioned in the registration paperwork. Participants must be at least 18 years of age.

All registration is done online. To sign up, visit www.nhbow.com where you will be directed to the event registration page. If the program is full, please check back periodically to see if spaces have opened up as a result of cancellations. Payment and accompanying paperwork must be received at New Hampshire Fish and Game Department Headquarters by January 22, 2020.

New Hampshire BOW programs are co-sponsored by the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department (www.wildnh.com) and the New Hampshire Wildlife Federation (www.nhwf.org), a nonprofit group that advocates for the promotion and protection of hunting, fishing, and trapping, as well as the conservation of fish and wildlife habitat.
