CONCORD, NH – There will be a public meeting on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at 6:30 p.m. at New Hampshire Fish and Game headquarters at 11 Hazen Drive in Concord to discuss the proposed rules related to inland fisheries. These proposals related to the Fis 400 rules include readoptions, some boundary clarifications to river sections with special regulations, and some other minor changes.

“This is part of our scheduled process of rulemaking,” explains Inland Fisheries Chief Jason Smith. “Administrative rules expire every 10 years so we are looking to readopt many of what is proposed without change prior to expiration. We are also looking this time to make our bass tournament lottery process more efficient and make some adjustments due to changing conditions, but there are no major proposals.”

The public is invited to the meeting to provide an opportunity for input and suggestions. The proposed changes can be viewed in advance of the meeting on the NH Fish and Game website at https://www.wildlife.state.nh.us/legislative/proposed-rules.html.
