Newbury, NH – On the afternoon of August 20, 2019 Conservation Officers were notified of an injured hiker on Mount Sunapee in Newbury. Pamela Bruder, 60, of Charlton, MA, sustained non-life threatening injuries when she fell near Lake Solitude south of Mount Sunapee.

A Conservation Officer responded to the scene while personnel from Newbury Fire Department and employees from Mount Sunapee Resort hiked to assist Bruder. Fire Department personnel made contact with Bruder and after evaluating her condition assisted her up the Lake Solitude Trail to an access road where she was transported to a waiting New London Ambulance. Bruder was then transported to New London Hospital.

The Newbury Fire Department, New London Ambulance and New Hampshire Fish and Game responded to the rescue.
