Raymond, NH – On August 14, 2019, at approximately 8:30 p.m., Fish and Game received a report from State Police Dispatch of a single ATV roll-over on private property in Raymond. The crash occurred off of Green Road and involved a minor who was unconscious and unresponsive.

At approximately 8:15 p.m., a 12-year-old female was operating an ATV on private property with her 15-year-old friend on the back of the ATV. The operator failed to negotiate a turn and rolled the ATV over throwing the passenger from the ATV.

Fish and Game Personnel, Raymond Fire and EMS personnel, along with Raymond Police Department, responded to the location of the crash. Due to the nature of the injuries, the female operator was transported by ambulance to Elliot Hospital in Manchester, NH, to be treated for her injuries.

Luckily both riders were wearing helmets, which ultimately diminished the nature of the injuries. The passenger sustained minor bumps and bruises from the roll-over, and the operator sustained serious but not life-threatening injuries.

Fish and Game would like to remind all riders to wear the appropriate safety equipment including helmets while out riding on the trails. The crash remains under investigation by Conservation Officers.
