Lincoln, NH – At 9:00 p.m. on August 13, 2019 the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department was notified of an injured hiker on the Lonesome Lake Trail in Lincoln, NH. Yasibelle Quinonez, 19, of North Attleboro, MA, was hiking down the trail with a group of friends when she fell and injured her leg. Unable to continue due to the injury, a call was placed to 911 for help. Rescuers from the Pemigewasset Valley Search and Rescue Team and Conservation Officers from the NH Fish and Game Department responded and carried the injured hiker down the trail in a litter. The rescue party safely reached the Lafyette Place Campground at 11:00 p.m. where the injured hiker was loaded into an ambulance and transported to Speare Memorial Hospital in Plymouth.

New Hampshire Fish and Game Department Conservation Officers would like to remind anyone enjoying the outdoors the end of this summer to plan ahead and make safe decisions.
