Gorham, NH – At 6:00 P.M. on Saturday, March 16, 2019, a woman suffered serious injuries when she crashed the snowmobile she was operating on Bear Spring Trail near Corridor 19. Christina Coleman, 49, of Juno Beach, FL had been riding snowmobiles with her son when she lost control, striking a tree. Her son rushed to her aid, assisting her back to the trail and placing a call for help. Upon receiving word of the incident, Gorham EMS and a Gorham Police Department officer responded to a nearby parking lot where Coleman had been transported by snowmobile, while a local Conservation Officer responded to Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin. Due to the nature of her injuries, she was transported to Androscoggin Valley Hospital for further evaluation and treatment.

The operator was wearing a helmet, inexperience is considered the primary cause of the crash.
