CONCORD, NH – The New Hampshire Fish and Game Department will hold a public hearing on Friday, January 18 at 1:00 pm at Department Headquarters, located at 11 Hazen Drive in Concord, to readopt the rules related to fees for licenses and permits. There are no license fee increases proposed in this rule.

The Department has filed a rulemaking proceeding which will readopt with amendment almost all of the provisions of Fis 1100 relative to Licensing and Permits. This is being done now to prevent the expiration of the rules. In each of the provisions, the language is being updated to current practice and to incorporate the forms that are used by Department staff and licensing agents in their daily work. It is important to note that there are no new licenses or permits that are being proposed and there are no increases in fees or license costs proposed in this rule.

The initial proposal and rulemaking notice may be viewed at www.wildnh.com/legislative/proposed-rules.html (select “Fis 1100 Relative to Licensing and Permits”).

Written public comments on the proposal may be submitted through the end of the day on Monday, January 28, 2019.  Written comments may be mailed to the NH Fish and Game Department, Paul Sanderson, Esq., 11 Hazen Dr., Concord, NH, 03301, faxed to (603) 271-5829, or e-mailed to comments@wildlife.nh.gov.
